One of the things I have loved the most about living in Kentucky the past 7 months is getting to be an Aunt. Combined among my 3 sisters in Kentucky, I have 13 nieces and nephews. Quite a few to keep track of! Madeline, Seth, Julia, Olivia, Dylan, Carson, Mason, Zach, Jessica, Macy, Alexis, Noah, and Madison. It has been very fun to get to know each of their unique little personalities, and I love them all.Before going on my trip to California, I visited the Johnson family, and had my portrait drawn by Julia, who is in first grade. She presented it to me with the title "Ant Jeny." I thought it was quite a fetching rendering, so I have posted it here for the world to see.
Tonight I am back in Lexington, which was 39 degrees when I landed at 5:08pm, and the temperature is steadily dropping. Back to the land of frozen tundra--more packing awaits me during this upcoming week!
